Now that Finn can walk, he apparently is looking for other ways to practice his balancing talents. That is one strong block!

He said "Uh oh!" for the first time today. Ha!

Just a few pictures from this weekend. Tig was all tired out from spending the night at Gramma Jonna's. She kept Finn and Tig for us while Jamie and I had a quick romantic getaway downtown. We stayed at the US Grant and went out for dinner and drinks. We had a wonderful time reconnecting and vowed to do it again soon.

Corn is SO GOOD!

Finn has been busy learning to walk! He takes 3 or 4 steps all the time and this weekend started get more adventurous. He's not full on walking yet, but it won't be long. I was finally able to catch him on camera, check him out!

The Girls' Club: Adrianne, Charlene, Me, and Amanda

Abi is sharing some snacks with Finner (the only boy!!) while Bella looks on

Uh oh, they caught us! Quick, swallow the snacks!

The girls came over last night for chicken enchiladas. Adrianne brought bonuelos too, oh my gosh they are good! We get together one or twice a week to let the kids play, have a glass of wine, and enjoy each other's company. My sister doesn't have kids yet, and I think our get togethers may be good birth control! I really love spending time with them, it helps keep us all sane. :)

My husband is the best dad ever! He had his wisdom teeth taken out on Friday (See the ice pack? Ouch!) and still manages to read his son stories and play with him. How lucky are Finn and I? :)

Happy Friday! Man, this was a long week wasn't it?

I went into the living room to grab something tonight and peeked around the corner back into the kitchen. Finnegan was taking things out of the cabinet, as per usual, and decided to try this on for size...

I even got a video without him noticing I was there till the end:

Story time! When we come home from work and daycare every day we like to read a few books, drink some milk, and have a little Mommy and Finnegan time. It's one of the best times of my day. Lately he's been handing me books to read, not sure if he actually likes those books or just likes to hand me stuff but I'll take either! His favorites are the ones with things to feel on the pages.

Hm, which one?
Milk break!

Back to business

Finn was sick yesterday, bad news for our brand new big boy car seat. It will never be the same! He is feeling much better today, back to his smiley self. He was so cute in the bath, thought I'd share. I put the cup on his head and he though he was the funniest thing in the world. I love this kid!

We spent an hour or so at the beach yesterday, Jamie rarely has a Sunday off and we wanted to make it count. Finn loved playing with his toys in the sand, filling up the bucket and then grabbing out big handfuls and squishing the sand between his little fingers. Jamie took him down to the water and he furrowed his brow until he got used to the water temp, then he started laughing and wanted to walk out as fast as Dad would let him. A good day!

On the way there in his big boy car seat
Check out that babe in the stroller
Showing Dad how to play in the sand
Here it comes Finner, get ready!
Man this is fun!
Love this one
That was awesome!
