My mom came over and indulged Finner in one of favorite activities: Blowing bubbles.

Jamie got some new golf clubs this week and Finn wanted to check them out.

OK, two cute stories I have to share. 

Finn started coming to us to kiss his "owies".  He'll walk over with the saddest look on his face and show us an injured finger or point to his forehead and saw "owie!".  We'll kiss it and he runs off to play.  Well, he started pointing to his lips and saying "owie! Mama owie!" and then he gets a kiss. He'll do that 3 or 4 times and then smiles and says "All gone!"  Like we don't kiss him a million times a day.  Cracks me up!

Tonight I was singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" when we were putting on his jammies and he started singing with me!  Just a few of the words but he was doing it.  How cool is that?  He's singing!

That's it. This kid gets more and more fun and lovable each day. Sigh.

Finn's cozy reading room

So yesterday Finn and I are in his room; I'm folding laundry and he's playing.  I look up and guess who is climbing into the laundry basket? Not unheard of.  However, he was carrying a book and proceeded to sit down inside the basket and "read" his book!  Ha!  After a few minutes he got out and got another book and got back in. The second book was "8 Little Monkeys", one of his favs.  It's hard to read to him now because he says "Oh no! Owie!" and kisses the monkey that fell off the bed.  In the basket he kept doing that and then he's say "No! No!" when he looked at the other side of the page (where the doctor says "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!")  It was the funniest thing!

Today the men watched the final round of the Masters together. Yay for Phil!

Happy Second Easter!

We had a big egg-dying party Saturday night, Finn really liked dunking the eggs in the cups.

Shockingly, a mess was made after someone got a little too eager to dunk his egg. 

We celebrated both Easter and my brother Geoff's 24th birthday on Saturday night. Happy Birthday little brother!

My mom also had an egg hunt for Finn. All the eggs were filled with puzzle pieces. How cool is that?

We had a really nice Easter this year. Finn was more aware of what was going on and enjoyed dying and finding eggs.  Hope you all had a great one too!
