Happy Halloween 2010!

Ever since I decorated Finn's bedroom as his "Pirate Room" I've wanted to dress him as a pirate for Halloween. I knew he'd be the cutest pirate on the block!  I was right! (And I'm not the least bit biased as his mother.)
 Rockin' the Pirate 'stache
 AARRGGG!
Every good pirate loves his mommy
He looked so small going up and knocking on the doors.  But he was so brave, did it all by himself and said "Trick or Treat!".  He was amazed every time someone gave him candy.  "Mommy!  Yook! I got a candy!"  (He can't say "l"'s)
 Score!
I just think this is a cute picture. Love his little mouth.
Whoa!  He LOVED all the "ghosties" that decorated the houses in our neighborhood.  We were going for walks almost every night to check them out all month.  He was thrilled to get up close and personal with them on Halloween night.
My mom's birthday is November 1st so we ended the night with a birthday cake.  He wanted to help blow out Gonah's candles.  Happy Birthday Mom!

Pumpkin Carving Party

The day before Halloween we had a Pumpkin Carving Party at our house.  Invited over some friends and family and got to work!  I'll try to post our Halloween pictures soon, promise!

Starting the party off right with chili and cornbread

Vanessa doesn't look to thrilled about the whole pumpkin thing

Mine took forever, thought I'd do a pirate ship.  Turned out pretty cool but man way too time consuming!
