Last weekend my grandma came to visit for a few days. Finn hadn't seen his Great Grandma Janet for a few months and had lots of new things to show her. I love that he has so many people to love him. :)

I got off work early one day a couple weeks ago and decided to take Finn out for yogurt as a special treat. It was a lot of fun, he loved it of course. It was the first time I'd really taken him to do something just for him (other than the park and stuff like that), rather than him tagging along with me.

These are some nice boots!

Gotta get pumped!

Here are a few pictures from Christmas. I didn't get many postable ones, mostly action shots. Finn enjoyed ripping the wrapping paper open and getting to see lots of family and friends around the house. We really had a nice Christmas this year, too many presents, we are very lucky. My family has been so blessed in many ways the last few years, we are grateful and look forward to the new year.

You know it's raining, right Mom?

Christmas Tree Day!
We went to the Christmas tree farm on a Saturday two weeks before the big day, and it was raining cats and dogs! That didn't stop us; we were on a mission! We let it dry in the garage all day and then set it up in the living room. Took us a few days to get it decorated, things get so busy around here. We decided to do just the top half so Finn wouldn't pull the ornaments or light off; it looked a little strange but we thought it was beautiful. The first morning it was up Finn walked out of his bedroom and said "Whoa!". It was a hit!

Joining in the big kid fun

Wow, where can I get one of these for my dad?

Finn's daycare had a "Christmas Sing" the week before Christmas. The kids performed several songs and Santa came to visit. Finn isn't quite to the singing stage yet, so he wore gloves with jingle bells and shook them with all his might! He loved Santa Claus, was fascinated by his beard. I was so proud of him for not being afraid!

This will be out of order, will post Christmas pictures next. We went to visit Jamie's family in Texas and Louisiana the day after Christmas and I caught Finn falling asleep in the car. It's the sweetest thing, I wanted to share.
