I wanted to post a few things and then show you his new Big Boy Room, aka Pirate Room! We did it all this weekend, painted on Friday and did the rest today. We converted his crib to a toddler bed and tonight is the first night. We figured he'd jump up and run out when we said good night tonight but he went right to sleep. So, I'm preparing for an interesting night but maybe I'll be surprised???
Here he is singing the ABC's. He's getting pretty good, very proud of himself.

He had just watched a Wonder Pets about saving a baby camel and a baby elephant so he was primed for the zoo.
His Nana send him the coolest Elmo flip flops and towel, he's a big fan.

I am super excited about how his room came out. It was a lot of fun to do and he seems to really like it. Keeps yelling: Pirates Mommy! In case you are wondering, yes, he has a sunglasses fetish, we keep several pairs on hand. My baby sure is getting big, can't believe we are done with the crib already. Sniff sniff.

I love the big boy room! Pirate theme is cute. Sadness about converting your crib though- that's like the final stage of babyhood! How are you handling it mamma? ; )
This is so much fun watching Finn grow and progress. On the opening page, look at the difference between the plump little baby in the family picture and the little boy in the dinosaur and zoo pictures! Children grow so very FAST...
